Special and Rare Championship Ring and Trophy Photo Coming to Auction

October 16, 2014

This rare photograph was recently unearthed and shows the amazing and beautiful items that were made by a company long gone.

Dieges and Clust championship rings and trophies

Dieges and Clust was a championship ring and awards company that designed and manufactured some of the finest items ever seen in the sports recognition field.

This extremely rare promotional photograph is being auctioned by Robert Edward Auctions on Saturday evening. The auction also contains a treasure trove of other items from the Dieges & Clust company archives, including the actual order forms for Brooklyn Dodger world series rings, other paperwork, and many promotional items.

Dieges & Clust made world series rings and press pins for the New York Yankees, The Brooklyn Dodgers, the New York Football Giants and many other teams too. They also made the Major League Baseball MVP trophies (as can been seen in the photo above), and numerous other awards, plaques and trophies.

They made a special Lou Gehrig award that was ordered by the New York Yankees and presented to him on his famous Lou Gehrig day at Yankee stadium.

Dieges & Clust cast the Heisman Trophy and produced the trophy from 1935 to 1979.

They also designed and manufactured the magnificent and highly sought-after large Spalding Trophies from the 1920s and 1930s.

Dieges & Clust was sold to Herff Jones in 1980. Herff Jones continues to make championship rings to this day.

In my humble opinion, their championship rings were the finest made, much nicer than Balfour or Jostens championship rings.

Vin Scully Talks About His 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Ring

April 22, 2014

Hear the legendary broadcaster, in his own words, discuss the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers World Series Rings.

The 1955 ring was made by Dieges & Clust in 14K white gold. The ring had a beautiful single diamond and a really cool feature: Each ring has a blue facsimile signature of the ring owner, in blue, going across the sweet spot of a baseball.

Each ring captured the signature faithfully and it’s one of the nicest world series rings ever made.

It’s the Dodgers only world championship from their many decades playing in Brooklyn.
