Before you grab your checkbook for this spectacular, authentic championship ring, there’s a couple of things you should know:

Patriots Super Bowl LI 2017 ring for sale

I’m not affiliated with this Super Bowl ring, and I not affiliated with the person selling this championship ring.

Here’s the good:

  • It is an authentic Patriots 2016 Super Bowl LI ring

  • Just like the player’s version, it appears to have the same mantras and engravings as the player’s version
  • It comes with the authentic wood presentation box (and even the cardboard box that houses the championship ring and wood presentation box)

    Here’s the bad:

The seller doesn’t state it, but note that this Super Bowl ring, while huge, is smaller than the player’s version.

    • The Super Bowl ring is made of mostly non-gold materials, and those huge diamonds are man made imitation diamonds. The diamonds look great but are not worth any money.
    • This is the first staff championship ring to sell from the Patriots 2016 season. As more enter the market place, the selling prices almost always drops.
    • Collectors want real gold, real diamonds, and player size championship rings. If you purchase this Super bowl ring, don’t expect to get your money back when it’s time to sell.

The Seller is accepting best offers, so who knows how much money this will actually sell for. A player’s authentic Super Bowl ring, could go for double the asking price of this item, however, I believe most collectors will not want to spend this kind of money for a non-gold, non-diamond, smaller-than-a-player’s version.

If you’re wondering how much smaller this Super Bowl ring is than the player’s version, the player version is estimated to be about 110 grams, and this one weighs in at 82.4 grams (according to the seller).

Last, anyone interested in purchasing this Super Bowl ring, should insist on concrete paperwork from the original owner. All the original owner has to do (or their family) is file a police report that the Super Bowl ring was stolen or lost, and you’re championship ring, no matter what you say, goes back to the original owner or family if you try to sell this item with a well-known auction company. I can’t stress enough how important an ironclad proof of title is.

Please remember as always, I buy championship rings. If you would like to sell your championship ring in complete privacy, please contact me.
