This Patriots championship ring, with an original and rare presentation box on eBay is over-priced, but the buyer is accepting best offers:

Patriots 1996 AFC championship ring and box

I am not affiliated with this championship ring or the seller, I’m just here to blog about the world of championship rings.

While the asking price is high, keep in mind it’s a player ring and the seller mentioned it belonged to a well-known pro-bowl player. Depending upon the player, that would make this championship ring, which typically sells in the $5,000 – $8,000 price range, worth more money.

For only one football season, Jostens issued the Patriots AFC Championship ring, and the Packers Super Bowl Championship ring with a huge wood presentation box that had each team’s logo on the inside top of the box.

I’ve never seen this presentation box before the 1996 football season, or after, and I’ve never seen it offered with Jostens championship rings from any other sport.

Because of the box’s size, many of the championship rings that are sold from this year often don’t come with the presentation box, which adds to their rarity.

The Patriots 1996 AFC championship ring is nothing special, when compared to other championship rings; especially the gorgeous winning and losing Super Bowl rings the Patriots would start to accumulate just a few years later.

But boy do I love these Patriot and Packer championship ring boxes!

Please remember as always, I buy championship rings. If you would like to sell your championship ring in complete privacy, please contact me.
