A reader alerted me to Leland’s misclassifying the championship ring shown below:

Championship rings in auction houses

A reader of this blog, who’s a huge Packer fan and always is on the lookout for Packer championship rings, sent the photo I created below to Leland’s. They fixed their listing right-away.

Great job to Leland’s – unlike some huge auction houses down South who are slow or worse, are very reluctant to make changes to their listings, Leland’s quickly relabeled the Packer Super Bowl ring as a replica.

The championship ring shown below (top row) was consigned as an authentic salesman sample. As you can clearly see by the photos of a player ring on the bottom row, there’s no-way the consigned item was authentic.

Packers Super Bowl rings

The Packer Super Bowl ring in the auction is no different from the $25.00 replicas we see made in China that sell all day long on eBay.

Thanks again Leland’s for showing the right way to do things.

Please remember as always, I buy championship rings. If you would like to sell your championship ring in complete privacy, please contact me.
