Here’s one expensive championship ring to stay away from:

Raiders 1983 Super Bowl ring

There are quite a few issues with this supposed 1983 Super Bowl ring.

First off, the real Super Bowl XVIII rings were made in 14K solid gold, not 10K gold like the one being offered, shown above.

Next, you can see by examining the photograph below, the last name is not the normal outstanding quality placed on Super Bowl rings:

Next, all 1983 Raider Super Bowl rings should have a deep Lenox stamp inside the ring (Lenox made the three winning Raider Super Bowl rings, not Jostens).

This championship ring, on sale on ebay for $8,800 (or best offer) does not have the Lenox stamping.

Hopefully no one will fall for this fake Super Bowl ring.
