Don’t worry, those iconic Steeler Super Bowl Rings aren’t missing – Bradshaw donated them to his alma mater:

Terry Bradshaw Super Bowl Rings

Sometimes players get the wrap for being all about the money. Here’s a possible example of that (from wikipedia.org)

In 2006, even though the Pittsburgh Steelers were one of the two teams playing in the Super Bowl game, Bradshaw did not attend a pregame celebration for past Super Bowl MVP’s. According to sources, Bradshaw (and three time MVP and pal Joe Montana) requested a $100,000 guarantee for their appearance in the Super Bowl MVP Parade, and associated appearances. The NFL refused to guarantee that. A rep for Bradshaw denied this. During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Terry Bradshaw said the reason why he did not attend the event was that he was spending time with family, and that he hates the crowds (this is true).

Showing that’s it not always about money, in 2006, Bradshaw donated his four Super Bowl rings, College Football Hall of Fame ring, Pro Football Hall of Fame ring, Hall of Fame bust, four miniature replica Super Bowl trophies (that aren’t so miniature, each standing about 18″ in height), and a football helmet and jersey from one of his Super Bowl triumphs to his alma mater, Louisiana Tech.

Way to go Terry, great job!

Please remember, I buy Super Bowl rings, so if you have one to sell, please let me know!
