I Heard From Two Organizations Today and the Results Could Not Be Different.
I emailed Dean Listle, Publisher of SCD about the NY Daily News Story and asked him if the story was accurate. Dean was kind enough to call me to disucss this matter. It turns out that the folks at SCD can not comment on the story at this point but Dean did confirm the story in the Daily News Blog is accurate. Like a maritial divorce, the seperation of SCD and Coach's Corner will take some time (a few weeks) but I firmly believe it will happen.
Dean, thanks for your time today, I'm sure I speak for many when I say it will be great to have SCD helping us sports collectors. I believe more will come out in a few weeks, we just have to be a little patient.
Next, I received an email from our friends at Coach's Corner. They wrote: "We will get our revenge on anyone who keeps this bullshit up"
As you can see, they continue to threaten and harass me. Please write to them at ccsa@comcast.com and tell them to stop threatening us and to stop polluting our industry with their garbage.
Friends, we can win, we can do it!

Let them threaten all they want. The more they threaten, the worse they look. Keep'em coming.
I have about 5 emails from their email address with threats. Should I call their local police department and file a complaint?
Looks like little Coachy is trying to make up for the loss of ad space with a mailing list: "COACH'S CORNER IS NOW SENDING OUT OUR OWN CUSTOM-MADE AUCTION CATALOGS MONTHLY TO ACTIVE BIDDERS & CONSIGNORS FREE OF CHARGE." (via their site)
And they would have gotten away with it if weren't for you meddling kids!
Ya, we should all over one. I have some new puppies that need house training!
I think that this guy Mike and the other one from YouTube are actually hitting the fraud sellers out there in the wallet. I say good work and keep in up!
You gotta post all those e-mails here. I won't be satisfied until some people do some serious jail time. And SCD goes under. You and Tresh have done a tremendous job bringing this to the attention of the forefront, as well as the Forums. Keep up the good work!
Anybody that has an issue with us- email me!
Lee
We all have issues with you, Lee. There just isn't enough storage space here to itemize them. By the way, Lee, why is it that you are showing less photographs of your Derek Jeter autograph items? Why are so many of the Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig autograph items buried deep in your auction listings? Isn't it amazing, Lee, that Mike "King" Kelly conveniently inscribed "1890" on that autographed baseball? By the way, Lee, why did that baseball sell for only $1520.00 instead of the $55,000 you claimed it was worth? See what I mean, Lee. I am already running out of space....
Mike,
Once again I think someone's playing around with you. IMO, that post from Lee at CCSA is the only legit contact someone has made from CC. That really was him, I think. Have a look at Lee's email address. It's not the same as the other ones you've mentioned.
Thanks,
I know I was getting some threats from either CC or someone pretending to be CC. So when I threatned to take the emails and go to the local police in the town where CC is and let them know I may be getting threats from CC the harassment stopped.
I had to create a new email address on Wednesday because an idiot hacker from here decided to play games with our old one. You have our updated contact info. You got beef--use it!! Stop slandering us!!!

Lee - You wrote "Stop slandering us!!!"
Please point out where I slandered you.
If you feel I am wrong than why not sue me?
Can you imagine the fun you and I will have in the discovery phase of the suit? That is where my lawyer or lawyers can request documents and other evidence from CC and use the evidence they find to show my comments were not slander.
I bet I could charge admission during the deposition stage. No need to charge admission, I would just update this blog with what I find. Can't wait to see how much you pay your "authenticators" and who keeps submitting those Babe Ruth and Ty Cobb balls.
I'm glad to have found this board and the fact people are exposing these bullies. I had a horrible experience with Coach's Corner in 2006 I'll never forget. I put in a bid for a Willie Mays signed authentic jersey. It was to be a birthday present for my brother in-law. To my amazement, I ended up winning the item for under $75.00. Something felt fishy, so I told my brother in-law about it before I bought it for him. He looked at a picture of the jersey and said he believed it to not look right and to not pay for it. I began to get bombarded with emails from them to which I explained that my brother in-law did not want the jersey for his birthday present. The emails continued and about a week later I get a call from my wife that someone was at my house looking for me from Souderton. I stopped shopping and rushed home to find two men from Coach's Corner standing at the end of the driveway. I couldn't believe they drove down to Allentown to talk to me in person. They explained my bid was a binding contract and it was illegal for me not to pay. I tried telling them I wasn't interested in the jersey, but they weren't the friendliest people. I didn't feel like debating considering my little girl was home so exchanged the money for the jersey and gave them the extra $50.00 they insisted on having for gas expenses. The Willie Mays jersey was later rejected by another company as they claimed it to be a non genuine signature. I wasted another $40.00 sending it to them. Lesson to be learned: Don't deal with Coach's Corner!
that is an amazing story. If I were you I would call the police. Sounds like you were harassed and threatened.
Mike, Looks they are talking about you on. Sounds like when you posted here about talking to Dean the other day you wwere a litlle on his side but this blog seems to think C.C dropped SCD. There is somemore about it to on net54. http://www.gameuseduniverse.com/vb_forum/showthread.php?t=26759
Excuse me. If I recall right Mr. Dimovitz, you made Chuck and I drive 30 minutes out of out way and had us waiting another 10 minutes or so for you to get home from picking up diapers. You placed a bid, therefore you had to pay! It's like we said, it's like signing a contract. You are still prohibited from bidding again in our future auctions because it took over 10 days to collect the payment due. We are not going to come to you every time you owe us money!
Lee
I find it rather creepy that a business owner would look someone up on the internet and go to their home uninvited, whether he owed money or not. I would have phoned the police and told them to go to hell.
Those guys from CCSA went to a buyer's home for a lousy $75.00!!! Exactly, Tom, I would have called the police and told them the same thing. That scenario makes them sound like thugs. And then to demand another $50.00 for expenses. Just shows all of us what kind of people they really are over there.
Christopher, it sure seems to me like they are thugs! Michael's story really makes things clear that people should avoid them at all costs.
